The club exists mainly to promote the interests of exhibition cavies, both purebreds and pets.  Members are entitled to win trophies, awards and specials offered at club shows and also to gain Star awards and Championships with their successes.

 Each member receives a free copy of the current Handbook (produced 2006) and two newsletters per year. The Handbook contains a full list of all cavy club secretaries with contact details, also many advertisements from leading breeders. We also have for sale a number of helpful booklets at reasonable prices.
